In the heart of Penetanguishene’s historic downtown, this commercial building underwent a major transformation using VIPEQ’s F08 Thermal CorkShield.
The original red-painted brick, while vibrant, had begun to show signs of age, cracking, and uneven color fading — especially on high-traffic street-facing walls.
To restore its charm while reinforcing durability, the building was coated in the sleek and modern Gunmetal tone. F08 provided not only a fresh and contemporary look but also enhanced insulation, weather protection, and breathability for the old brick façade.
This project demonstrates how VIPEQ’s cork-based solution blends performance with preservation — allowing this Main Street storefront to maintain its architectural character while gaining long-term functional benefits, including energy efficiency and resistance to moisture and UV exposure.
